Time and Location

We are located just a couple blocks south of the 26th Street and Marion Road intersection. Every Sunday at 10:30am we gather together for fellowship and worship, and we meet in Bible studies throughout the week in what we call community groups. There are free snacks and coffee in the lobby for you to enjoy before the service starts.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It's normal to have lots of questions before visiting a new church, so we've compiled a list of some of the most frequently asked questions.

  • How should I dress?
We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. Most people at Cross Pointe dress casually in jeans and a t-shirt while others do dress up.

  • What do I do when I get there?
When you walk in the front doors a friendly person will greet you, give you a bulletin, and answer any questions that you might have.

  • What happens during the worship service?
The bulletin you receive will give you an idea of what to expect during our time together; we'll pray, sing songs, read scripture, and listen to a sermon that is both practical and Biblical. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card that you will find in the bulletin, and place it in the offering basket later in the service. The card is a way for us to learn a little bit about you.

We want you to enjoy your time with us, so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like.

  • Is there childcare?
We welcome children of all ages at Cross Pointe. There is toddler child care available during the worship service on the main floor, children's (preschool-5th grade) classes during the service in the lower level, and Sunday school for students 6th-12th grade before the service at 9am in the youth room on the lower level. Children attending the classes during the worship gathering will be dismissed from the main service to their classes following our time of singing together.

  • Is this an English or Spanish speaking church?
Both! We have combined worship services every so often, but for the most part the English-speaking part of the church meets in the Main Sanctuary while the Spanish-speaking members meet in the Spanish Sanctuary ten minutes earlier, Sundays at 10:20am.
